Croston is a small village in Lancashire located between Southport and Chorley on the River Yarrow. The population of the village, at the point of the 2001 census, was 2,679. This has increased in recent years but the village has maintained it’s picturesque rural charm.
There are a number of traditional hostelries in the village as well as excellent restaurants to entice visitors. There is also a hotel located on the outskirts of the village for anyone wishing to extend their stay.

Welcome to the web site of Croston Festivities where you will find information about Croston village and our festive celebrations.
The Croston Christmas Fair is a beautifull traditional village Christmas celebration organised by local people for the village. This traditional fair recommenced in 2008 following the decision by a number of villagers to put together ‘Croston Village Festivities Group’ to plan, organise and run the day.
Croston Village Festivities Group is comprised entirely of volunteers who are determined to deliver a non-profit making event. We meet regularly and are happy for villagers to join us.
